Some of my favorite poets are Mary Oliver, Henry David Thoreau, Emily Dickinson, and Walt Whitman. They used their words to create vivid images for us to read, ponder, reflect and share. I have posted some of their words within this blog.

Let’s get kids out in nature. Take along a hat, bug spray, sunscreen, and/or flashlight. Study a marsh, walk on a beach, hike in a forest, follow the migration of birds or the spawning of the trout. Have a moment you won’t forget.
